Bardstown Bourbon Company is set to debut its Origin Series Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Friday, March 24 at their distillery, starting 9am. SRP being $69.99.
This 6-year-old is 100% estate-distilled, 96 proof and is comprised of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. This whiskey is finished in custom barrels showcasing infrared toasted American oak and cherry wood for a wholly unique flavor.
Per the brand, Ripe cherry resonates through toasted oak, highlighted by white flowers, herbal tea and baking spices.
Origin Series is a 3 release pony including a Bourbon and a Wheated Bourbon Bottled-in-Bond. News of Origin Series debuted in December 2022.
“The Origin Series is the first opportunity to taste an expression that is 100 percent our whiskey,” said Dan Callaway, VP of Product Development for Bardstown Bourbon Co. “We’ve put years of patience into this bottle, waiting six years until we felt it was truly ready to share with the world.
