Irish Distillers-produced Midleton has released four single cask whiskies – 27-Year-Old First-Fill Bourbon; 25-Year-Old Virgin American Oak; 21-Year-Old Virgin American Oak; and 24-Year-Old First-Fill Bourbon – for their Very Rare Collection and which will be available in specific travel retail venues around Europe.

Midleton Very Rare’s 27-Year-Old First-Fill Bourbon has been bottled at 49.6% alcohol by volume (99.2 proof) and is being made available in the Amsterdam Airport in the Netherlands.

Midleton Very Rare’s 25-Year-Old was bottled at 57.2% alcohol by volume (114.4 proof) and is being made available at three travel retail venues – the airports of Amsterdam, Frankfurt in Germany and Shannon in Ireland.

Midleton Very Rare’s 21-Year-Old Virgin American Oak was bottled at 55.5% alcohol by volume (111 proof) and is being made available at London’s Heathrow airport.

Last but not least, Midleton Very Rare’s 24-Year-Old First-Fill Bourbon was bottled at 57.1% alcohol by volume (114.2 proof) and is being made available at the Dublin airport in Ireland.

Irish Distillers has released a 47-year-old Midleton whiskey as the third whiskey in their Very Rare Silent Distillery collection.

Irish Distillers’ Midleton Very Rare Chapter Three is a 47-year-old single pot still Irish whiskey matured in a pair of casks – an ex-sherry butt and an ex-bourbon barrel – and is said to contain notes of cherries, coffee and hazelnut.

Only 97 bottles of Irish Distillers Midleton Very Rare Chapter Three are being made available for $51,000 per bottle in Ireland, France, the UK and USA.
