Speyside distillery Benriach has released the second edition of their single malt whisky as part of their Malting Season series.

Benriach Malting Season Second Edition is made entirely using barley malted at Benriach’s floor maltings – in this case, specifically concerto barley, chosen for its cereal flavor – and was matured in 30 first-fill bourbon casks [all distilled November 2013], bottled at 48.9% alcohol by volume [97.8 proof] and is said to contain notes of apple, barley sugar, citrus, honey, mandarin, vanilla and white chocolate.

Benriach Malting Season Second Edition is being made available for $120 per bottle beginning in June 2022.
