Wolf Spirit Distillery was founded in 2017 in a building which formerly housed a laundromat in Eugene and initially distilled vodka.

“Take Your Shot” is currently scheduled to air on ESPN during the live broadcast of the Professional Fighters League in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, but can also be viewed at: https://vimeo.com/699233806/057517ac78

Wolf Spirit Distillery’s Puncher’s Chance Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a five- and six-year-old blend of whiskies [in a collaboration with IJW Whiskey of Louisville, Kentucky], with a 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% barley mash bill and proprietary yeast, bottled at 45% alcohol by volume [90 proof] and is said to contain notes of apricot, maple and oatmeal.

Wolf Spirit Distillery’s Puncher’s Chance Kentucky Straight Bourbon is being made available for $35 per 750ml bottle.

We’re also joined by Aberfeldy’s Gareth Howells and actor Beth Behrs, known for her roles on “The Neighborhood” and “Two Broke Girls.” They’ll tell us about Aberfeldy’s #BarrelsAndBees program to protect and expand critically endangered honeybee habitat, along with Beth’s own experiences in both whisky and beekeeping.

Editor’s note: WhiskyCast’s Mark Gillespie visited Frey Ranch in Nevada before this webcast as part of a tour for drinks writers organized by the distillery. As with all of our content, though, full editorial content of this episode remains with WhiskyCast.
