The Belgian Owl single malt whisky is created using vintage Scottish stills from Forsyth – two of the four stills from the old Caperdonich distillery – and is the only distillery outside of Scotland using vintage Scottish stills.

The Belgian Owl uses barley grown in the nearby Hesbaye region of Belgium and water sourced from a deep aquifer located below the distillery.

The Belgian Owl single malt whisky is aged in ex-bourbon barrels – each used a maximum of four years – from Heaven Hill Bourbon Distillery in Kentucky and the core range single malt whiskies are then bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof].
