Speyside distillery GlenAllachie has added a trio of new limited edition whiskies to their Virgin Oak Series – a 15-year-old Scottish Virgin Oak Finish, a 10-year-old French Virgin Oak Finish, and a 10-year-old Chinquapin Virgin Oak Finish – all bottled at 48% alcohol by volume [96 proof].

The GlenAllachie 15-year-old Scottish Virgin Oak Finish was matured in Scottish oak casks, finished in Scottish Sessile oak casks sourced from the Scottish coast and is said to contain notes of cinnamon, honeycomb, toffee and vanilla. Only 2,250 bottles of the GlenAllachie 15-year-old Scottish Virgin Oak Finish are being made available for $230 per bottle.

The GlenAllachie 10-year-old French Virgin Oak Finish is said to offer notes of ginger, mocha, orange and toffee and is being made available for $80 per bottle.

The GlenAllachie 10-year-old Chinquapin Virgin Oak Finish was matured in casks from the Northern Ozark region of Missouri, is said to contain notes of butterscotch and licorice and is also being made available for $80 per bottle.
