Islay distillery Ardbeg has released Smoketrails Manzanilla Edition – a whisky created using Manzanilla sherry casks from Spain.
Ardbeg Smoketrails Manzanilla Edition was matured in both American oak casks, and Manzanilla sherry casks from Sanlúcar de Barrameda in Spain, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume [92 proof] and is said to contain notes of Brazil nuts, dark chocolate, fennel and pine.
Ardbeg Smoketrails Manzanilla Edition is only being made available in global travel retail venues.
