Wemyss Malts has released six single cask Scotch whiskies – ranging in age from 16 years to 30 years – with the 30-year-old bottling being from Highland distillery, Blair Athol.

Each Wemyss Malt has been bestowed with unique names and the 30-year-old Blair Athol is referred to as Jam on Toast and was matured in a sherry hogshead, bottled at 50.6% alcohol by volume [101.2 proof] and only 226 bottles will be made available exclusively to Wemyss Malts’ Cask Club members [membership is free via the company’s website] for $400 per 700ml bottle.

Wemyss Bananas and Cream is a 16-year-old grain whisky from the Strathclyde distillery, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume (92 proof) and is being made available for $117 per bottle.

Clove Studded Oranges is a 25-year-old from Speyside distillery, Glenrothes, bottled at 48.8% alcohol by volume (97.6 proof) and is being made available for $265 per 700ml bottle.

Its twin – Kiwi and Chili – is also a 25-year-old from Glenrothes that was bottled at 55.2% alcohol by volume (110.4 proof) although only 282 bottles are being made available for $230 per bottle.

Sweet Disposition is also a 25-year-old – but from the Speyside distillery, Glen Keith, bottled at 56.3% alcohol by volume [112.6 proof]. Only 492 bottles are being made available for $265 per bottle.

Last but not least is Ultimate Apple Pie, a 25-year-old from Speyside’s Glen Moray distillery, bottled at 46% alcohol by volume (92 proof) and is being made available for $200 per bottle.

Four of the six whiskies will be available from select retailers in the UK, EU and Asian markets.
