Waterford Distillery Heritage: Hunter Irish whiskey uses the barley variety, Hunter [named after pioneering plant breeder Dr Herbert Hunter] which was introduced in 1959 and was noted for its distinctive flavor.

Waterford Distillery’s Heritage: Hunter was matured in a combination of first-fill and virgin American oak, French oak, and Vin Doux Naturel casks and is said to offer notes of apple, cloves, lemon and orange.

Only 10,000 bottles of Waterford Distillery Heritage: Hunter are being made available for $115 per bottle.
