Batman has his own Scotch whisky called Inishtree – a 25-year-old limited edition single malt from former Speyside distillery, Imperial [which closed in 2013]. The whisky was produced through Park Row, the London-based venue bankrolled by Warner Bros, DC Comics and Wonderland Restaurants which features drinking and restaurant venues themed around the characters of the DC comic book universe. The name – Inishtree – is the fictional home of Batman’s alter ego, Bruce Wayne.
Inishtree Speyside Single Malt was matured in a single refill Bourbon barrel and is said to contain notes of almonds, biscuits and lemon.
Only 145 bottles of Inishtree Speyside Single Malt are being made available for $665 per bottle and those interested in purchasing a bottle can indicate their intents by emailing inishtree@parkrowlondon.co.uk.
