Actor Liev Schreiber [“Scream”, “X-Men”, “Isle of Dogs”] has released a new premium Irish whiskey called Sláinte, which donates funds to humanitarian causes and which sees 100% of the funds from the sale of its limited edition 18-year-old whiskey allocated and gifted to Blue Check Ukraine, which is co-founded by Schreiber.
Sláinte (pronounced Slahn-cha) Smooth Blend is a triple distilled Irish whiskey aged in bourbon oak barrels, finished in sherry casks, bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and is said to contain notes of apricot, banana, pepper and vanilla.
Sláinte Smooth Blend is being made available for $38 per bottle, while the special edition 18 Year Old Irish [56.7% alcohol by volume – 113.4 proof] is being made available for $500 per bottle.
