Fresh off their victory over Mariah Carey, Dublin-based Darker Still Spirits’ Black Irish whiskey-and-stout drink is being made available in Finland.

Black Irish triple-distilled Irish whiskey has been matured in deep-charred American ex-bourbon casks and derives from a blend of strong stout and barrel-aged stout, with this blend then used to cut the cask strength whiskey to a bottling strength of 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and said to be presenting notes of coffee, chocolate malt and roasted barley.

Last year, Darker Still Spirits defeated American singer Mariah Carey in a European Union trademark dispute between Black Irish and Carey’s cream liqueur of the same name.
