Glenmorangie continues their release blitz with the release of two new whiskies – 21-year-old Aureum and 16-year-old Vindima – exclusively for their global travel retail venues.

Glenmorangie Vindima – named after a grape harvest festival on the island of Madeira – is a 16-year-old whisky aged in bourbon casks and finished in Malmsey – the sweetest of the Madeira grapes – casks. Glenmorangie Vindima was bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and is said to offer notes of milk chocolate, orange and peach.

Glenmorangie Aureum – Latin for “gold” – was matured in bourbon casks, bottled at 43% alcohol by volume [86 proof] and is said to offer notes of honey, pear and vanilla.

Both whiskies are being made available at Glenmorangie’s Heathrow boutique – Aureum for $275 per bottle [with a worldwide travel retail release slated for September] while Vindima for $115 per bottle at all worldwide travel retail venues.
