The Macallan has released the second edition of their Harmony Collection, celebrating coffee [and specifically, being inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica coffee bean], with a pair of limited edition single malt whiskies – The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Intense Arabica [for domestic markets] and Smooth Arabica [for travel retail venues].
Both The Macallan Harmony Collection coffee-inspired single malt whiskies were aged in a combination of sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks with The Macallan Harmony Collection Intense Arabica bottled at 44% alcohol by volume [88 proof] and said to contain notes of sweet/strong espresso coffee while The Macallan Harmony Collection Smooth Arabica was bottled at 40% alcohol by volume [80 proof] and is said to contain notes of a softly spiced espresso.
The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Intense Arabica and Smooth Arabica are both being made available for $185 per bottle.
