Pernod Ricard/Chivas Brothers-owned Royal Salute has made their Small Batch Collection available – albeit, exclusively for travel retail venues.
Royal Salute Small Batch Collection is a a selection of rare cask-finished whiskies, comprising of eight whiskies aged between 25 and 29 years old, crafted using casks including rye, French limousin oak and Pedro Ximénez sherry.
All eight whiskies will feature purple-hued presentations as a tribute to the brand’s heritage when it was gifted to Queen Elizabeth II for her coronation in 1953.
The Royal Salute Small Batch Collection is being made available – in limited quantities and in specific global travel retail venues – for $450-750 per bottle [depending on the whisky].
