The Cotswolds Distillery has released a limited edition whisky to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – The Cotswolds Platinum Jubilee Single Cask Whisky.
The Cotswolds Platinum Jubilee Single Cask Whisky was aged in cask #1952 – a specially-selected cask marking the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II ascending the throne – matured in a first-fill shaved, toasted and re-charred (STR) ex-red wine cask, bottled at 55.4% alcohol by volume [110.8 proof] and is said to contain notes of dark chocolate, orange and toffee.
Only 300 bottles of The Cotswolds Platinum Jubilee Single Cask Whisky are being made available for $120 per 700ml bottle from the Cotswolds Distillery’s website.
