Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014 is a single malt whisky distilled, matured and bottled on Islay using barley exclusively grown on the island from eight separate farms – each of which is located within a 15 mile-radius from the distillery.

Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014 was matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks [84%], first-fill virgin oak [8%] and second-fill Bordeaux wine casks [8%], bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof], peated to 40 PPM [parts per million] and is said to offer notes of apricot, crème brûlée, honey, peach, peat smoke, toffee and vanilla.

Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014 is being made available for $90 per bottle via the official site [bruichladdich.com].
