Islay distillery Ardnahoe has launched their inaugural whisky – a limited edition five-year-old single malt named, not surprisingly, Ardnahoe Inaugural Release. Ardnahoe Inaugural Release was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to offer notes of custard, ginger, lemon and peat.
