Islay distillery Ardnahoe has launched their inaugural whisky – a limited edition five-year-old single malt named, not surprisingly, Ardnahoe Inaugural Release.
Ardnahoe Inaugural Release was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, bottled at 50% alcohol by volume [100 proof] and is said to offer notes of custard, ginger, lemon and peat.
Ardnahoe Inaugural Release is being made available from the distillery’s website, at the distillery itself, at selected retailers in the UK and more than 20 countries worldwide for $90 per bottle.
