La Martiniquaise-Bardinet-owned old school Scotch whisky blend brand Cutty Sark is celebrating their 100th birthday with the Cutty Sark Centenary Edition bottle and gift box offering.
Cutty Sark Centenary Edition is a blend of malt and grain whiskies that was matured for 23 years then combined for 100 days in ex-Port casks, bottled at 52.2% alcohol by volume [104.4 proof] and is said to offer notes of caramel, chocolate and spice.
The Cutty Sark Centenary Edition bottle is encased in a gift pack designed to resemble the original Cutty Sark ship depicted on the original label – complete with a white rope and golden eyelets in a nod to the tea clipper – with a golden stopper in the shape of a ship’s cleat as the topper.
Only 1,435 bottles of Cutty Sark Centenary Edition are being made available for $1,000 per bottle.
